Improving the digital presence for personal training company

The Challenge

I was approached by a growing personal training company that was expanding their operations across multiple gyms and into online coaching, they needed a new brand and website that reflected the size of their operation and showcased the services they had on offer as well as giving visitors the ability to pay for personal training sessions using the website and subscribe to a members only blog/ content platform. The website is currently in on hold.

The Solution

A user-centered mobile friendly digital approach

Being quite avidly into fitness myself I took it upon myself to interview some of my fitness connections about their experience with personal trainers online, and what they expected out of a digital personal training experience, this along with competitor analysis formed the basis of the UX direction for RG Fitness. planning the site architecture

With no existing website it was important to determine what exactly Ryan and his team wanted out of their new website, the focus was on showcasing the services on offer and allowing clients to book consultations and also pay for sessions and supplements using the website.

wireframing & prototyping

The site was first sketched in wireframe form and discussed with Ryan and the team and then moved to hi-fidelity prototypes which acted as a fully interactive version of the site. As mentioned above due to unforeseen circumstances the project is on hold but will be completed in 2019.

brand & print design

To co-incide with the website a fresh new brand was created that allows Ryan and the team to project their image a lot higher than that of a 1 man band. I have completed various print and creative projects including roller banners, business cards, voucher designs (pictured) and more.

social media design

Although the website is on hold due to unforseen circumstances I’ve worked with Ryan and the team to devise a full social media strategy in the mean time, with transformation posts, informative pieces and also content pointing to a temporary landing page.
