EKM UI concepts and ideation (unlaunched)
The Challenge
Although my role at EKM was Creative Lead – and I oversaw the front-end site UX, digital marketing strategy and creative direction – I often utilised data I gathered and analysed to explore other UX problems and ideas.
The Solution
I often came up with solutions to user issues – 1 of which was low performing shops, so I came up with Intelligent Ecommerce. Anoter was our marketing metrics weren’t always easy to retreive, so using 3rd party API’s I came up with a solution to display important KPI’s and metrics in a digestible form with a TV mode to display across internal screens at EKM.
Intelligent Ecommerce
Intelligent eCommece was a concept for the dashboard of ekm.com, aimed at providing customers with detailed information about their shop’s performance, linked with targets, and intelligent suggestions based on EKM shop data, past events and features installed/ settings. All aimed at informing and educating the customer and to increase their shop’s performance. The intelligent eCommerce feed is planned for Phase 2 of the new EKM news feed. Read proposal docĀ
Internal dashboard
I devised a plan for an internal metrics dashboard that had multiple modes and displayed important metrics in real time utilising 3rd party API’s and connecting to our billing system.
- Standard mode – for viewing metrics on PC
- TV mode – Cycled through in larger format and hid menu for screen purposes
- Fully responsive – for mobile access of important data on the go
